Blood Rage

Social Construct

A colloquial phrase describing the unique physiological state experienced by Maur under stress. When a Maur’s amygdala is activated, its brain secretes a hormone that increases strength and speed beyond the normal stimulating capacity of adrenaline or similar hormones. It also lowers the Maur’s access to higher levels of thinking and seems to suppress the self-preservation instinct.
